World Cup host Brazil will be seeking to move closer to the knockout stages with victory over Mexico today in their group a match in Fortaleza.
Beating the CONCACAF team may not be straightforward, however, as Mexico has won seven of their last 13 meetings, although in Brazil’s favour, psychologically, is a 2-0 win over the Mexicans in their last meeting at the Confederations' Cup last year.
Today’s match, which kicks off at 2pm, signals the start of the second round of group games.
In the meantime, the final set of opening group games will also be played today in Group H with Belgium starting its campaign against Algeria at 11.00 and Russia battling South Korea at 5pm.
