The new Caribbean Premier League was officially launched on Monday in Barbados, but you will have to wait until next year to know when and where it will be contested.
The Professional League, which is akin to the Indian Premeir League and Australia's big bash, wo;; last a month.
Franchises will be built around local Caribbean players complemented by a few overseas stars. However there was no confirmation of the exact number of franchises .
Monday’s launch was attended by regional legends and administrators.
It is to be sponsored by the Barbados based International Bank, Verus.
