The 2021 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has been scheduled to run from August 28 to September 19. The organizers announced the dates for the tournament on Thursday.
All matches in the 2021 season will be played at the Warner Park Sports Complex in St Kitts. St Kitts and Nevis has recorded 46 cases of Covid-19 and 45 of them have recovered, leaving the island with one active case.
The Jamaica Tallawahs finished 4th in the 2020 edition of the tournament. The Tallawahs won the 2016 event in St Kitts.
The Tallawahs have won five and lost eight of the CPL encounters at the Warner Park Sports Complex. The Trinbago Knight Riders are the defending champions of the tournament.
