The local boxing fraternity is already in talks about plans to honour Jamaica's late boxing great, Mike "The Body Snatcher" McCallum, who died suddenly on Saturday after a glittering 16 year career under the Jamaican flag.

Given his outstanding achievements which include three weight division world titles, president of the Jamaica Boxing Association, (JBA) Stephen “Bomber” Jones, says talks have already started about honouring McCallum.

In 2011, McCallum was listed by Ring Magazine at number eight in their list of best middleweight title holders in the last 50 years. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2003.
