Elite Netball League semis on at UTech

The St. James Sharpes will contest the semi-finals of the Berger Elite Netball League on Saturday at UTech after the Under-21 Suns who qualified were ineligible to participate due to a communication error.

Technical Director of the league, Arlene Findley, says the Suns who were briefed before the start of the league were only allowed to compete to gain preparation for the national team's appearance at the Youth World Cup in July.

The Sharpes who finished 5th will take the Suns spot and play the St Ann Orchids while the Kingston Hummingbirds will take on the St Catherine Racers after their 34-31 win over the Manchester Spurs on Thursday.

The double-header will begin at 6:00 pm.
