Former Reggae Boy facing prison time and felony charges in the US

Former Reggae Boy Jorginho James is set to appear in court in late October after being charge with a felony-misdemeanor in Harris County, Texas.

Video footage emerged on Wednesday, showing a man which appears to be James, viciously throwing punches at a woman repeatedly in the presence of a minor shortly after the two entered a building believed to be a day-care.

It’s understood that James, a former Wolmer’s Boys and Kingston College Manning Cup player, was out on bond from a previous case in which he allegedly choked and assaulted his wife in March of this year.

The latest assault is said to have taken place on August 31 and was captured by security cameras inside the day care.

According to a document seen by Radio Jamaica Sports, James has been released on a $20,000 bond. The document also stated that the defendant shall not have any contact with the alleged victim.

James who scored on debut for the Reggae Boyz in 2012, had only two international caps for the country.
