Jamaica Scorpions were fighting back at stumps on day two of their final preliminary round CWI regional 4-day match against the Combined Campuses and Colleges at the Sir Frank Worrel Ground in Barbados.
The Scorpions were 206-5 in their second innings reply at the close, a lead of 12 runs. The inform Javelle Glenn again led the way for the Scorpions with a fighting 86 which included 10 fours and 2 sixes.
He also shared an 88 run 5th wicket stand with Brad Barnes who made 30. Captain John Campbell also made 33, Jermaine Blackwood 26.
Aldaine Thomas 7 and Abhijai Mansingh 2 were not out batsmen for the Jamaican franchise. Larry Edward has so far taken 3-47 for the CCC.
Earlier, the CCC posted a creditable 327 all out in their first innings after resuming 174-4. Shaqkere Parris carried on to 117 from his overnight 70.
