Shanieka Ricketts leapt to a games record and season's best 14.94 metres to capture Jamaica's third gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Friday.
Kimberly Williams missed out on a podium place as she finished fourth with 14.25 metres and Ackelia Smith finished sixth with a best effort of 13.83 metres.
Earlier, Elaine Thompson-Herah stayed on course for the sprint double as she qualified for the women's 200 metre final with the fastest time of 22.63 seconds, while Natalliah Whyte also made progress with a 23.09 seconds clocking.
Elsewhere, O'dayne Richards was a sixth place finisher in the men's shot put final with a best effort of 19.90 metres.
