Gore and Barnes dominate Independence of Speed meet at Dover

Doug Gore and Nicholas Barnes highlighted the JRDC Independence of Speed race meet at Dover Raceway in St Ann to emerge winners of their respective classes.

Gore once again made the Modified Production Class 4 his own as fended off the challenge of Sheldon Morgan and Kevin Cork.

Barnes was similarly dominant in the Modified Production 2 Class as he resumed his rivalry with Tommi Gore.

Barnes won race 1 ahead of Demar Lee and Tommi Gore, before beating David Delapenha and Gore in race 2 and race 3.

Meanwhile, in the Improved Production 2 class it was Andrew Massias who won 2 of three races. The next meet is slated for Heroes’ Day, October 16.
