Hamilton to step down as TOBA president; Lewis sole nominee so far

Popular owner Desmond Lewis is the sole nominee so far for the presidency of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA).

Incumbent president Howard Hamilton who has served as president of TOBA for the past 26 years is preparing to demit office to go into retirement.

TOBA currently has approximately 40 members with the executive to have a total of 9 individuals.

The TOBA elections are tentatively set for early January of next year. Nominations will take place 21 days before the Annual General Meeting.
