Jamaica College coach Neil Harrison says he has no issue accepting his team's disqualification from the 4X800m at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia on Thursday’s opening day.
Multiple schools protested JC's use of second leg runner Nicholas Power for the 4X800m heats and checks were made with the Inter Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) following which the Old Hope Road-based team was disqualified.
Power was ineligible for the Penn Relays, having not competed at the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships this year.
He was serving a one year "Champs" ineligibility after transferring from Calabar High. Jamaica College had initially crossed the line with the fastest time heading into the final.
The other members of their quartet were Omarion Davis, Nellie Ambriton and Kemario Bygrave.
