In form apprentice Suckoo injured at exercise

Inform apprentice Tajay Suckoo will be out of action for up to two months after sustaining injuries on the exercise track last Saturday. He was injured after being thrown from his mount which bolted upon seeing a dead horse on the track.

The 22 year old apprentice was later taken to the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) where he underwent Xrays. The results showed fractures to his left ankle and instep. Suckoo is scheduled to see an orthopedic specialist on Thursday.

The young apprentice who began riding in late December, is currently lying 5th in the jockeys' championship with 15 wins.
