JAAA summons Tyquendo Tracey to disciplinary hearing

Nine months after a much publicised spat with technical leader of Jamaica's team to the World Athletics Championships in Budapest over the selection of the sprint relay team, Tyquendo Tracey has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing by the JAAA.

Radio Jamaica Sports understands that Tracey was notified in writing last week Wednesday, June 5, by the JAAAs about the hearing which is scheduled for 10:00am on Saturday, June 15.

It's understood that sprinter is being called to this hearing for disrespecting Technical Leader Maurice Wilson at last year's World Championships.

General secretary of the JAAA, Marie Taveres, who today confirmed that the disciplinary hearing was scheduled declined to reveal who will sit on the panel.

This hearing comes less than two weeks ahead of the JAAA National Senior Championships set for June 27 to 30.
