Jamaican horses to face off in Trinidad and Tobago derby

Two Jamaican thoroughbreds "Bigman in Town" and "Perfect Day" will face the starter in the Trinidad and Tobago derby stakes over 10 furlongs at the Santa Rosa Park on Tuesday.

The Gary Subratie trained "Bigman in Town" will be ridden by American jockey Javier Castellano.

"Perfect Day", the winner of the Trinidad Oaks on August 31 is also conditioned by Subtratie and will be partner by Jamaican reignsmman Shane Ellis.

Fourteen horses will face the starter.
