Jamaica's Under-19 women's cricketers have now lost their opening two games of the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars Youth Tournament after going down by 81 runs to Guyana Under-19 women at the Diego Martin Sports Complex in Trinidad on Saturday.
Set 134 runs to win, the Jamaicans were bowled out for just 52. Abigail Bryce top scored for the Jamaicans with 13, while Moniqueca Reid made 12. Danellie Manns bagged 4-15 for Guyana.
Earlier, Guyana who were winning their second game in a row, piled up 133-7 from their 20 overs. Naomi Barkoye top scored with 46, while captain Reale-Anna Grimmond made 31.
Bryce was the pick of the Jamaican bowlers with 3-22, while Jaunel Deer claimed 2- 26.
