JC takes protest over athletes' "Champs" eligibility to a higher level

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jordan Forte

Jamaica College has written to the Minister of Sport Olivia Grange, asking for her intervention in a matter in which ISSA ruled two of the school's Ghanaian athletes ineligible to compete at the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships.

The Old Hope Road-based school has also written an 8 page letter to ISSA challenging its decision not to allow the athletes' champs eligibility.

JC want to have Ghanaian athletes Evans Tetteh and Dominic Amponsah be made eligible to compete at next month's  championships.
