With the exposure of contents from a confidential governance report outlining financial frailties, the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has sought to clear the air on happenings inside the organization.
With the debacle involving monetary constraints raring its ugly head, JFF general secretary Dennis Chung says the different steps they take going forward will be of vast importance.
Speaking at a press conference at the JFF headquarters on Wednesday morning, Chung said they must fix the product to make it more attractive to corporate entities.
Chung also elaborated on the breakdown for the amount owed by the JFF which was mentioned in the governance document, noting that the JFF has paid $105 million of statutory liabilities which stood at $190 million in 2017.
Chung added that there was a conversation between the JFF and the relevant personnel from the tax authority and that an agreement was made between the parties involved.
