Jockey Beharie suspended for 25 race days

Jockey Delroy Beharie has been slapped with a lengthy suspension totalling 25 race days by the Jamaica Racing Commission stewards.

Beharie was punished for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing aboard Fearless Force in the 9th event on the programme of June 14.

Fearless Force who went off at 6-1, finished 6th in the 10-horse field. The suspension takes effect on July 12.
