JPL matches end in drawn results

Portmore United came from behind to hold Arnett Gardens to a 1-1 all draw in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) at the Stadium East Field on Wednesday.

After a stalemate in the first half, Arnett took the lead through Demari Deacon six minutes into the second half.

However, the celebration was short-lived as six minutes later Portmore struck back, Tevin Scott getting the goal that ensured they left with a point.

It was a similar result between Mount Pleasant Football Club and title holders Harbour View. The game was only 8 minutes old when Sue-Lae McCalla gave Mount Pleasant the lead. But 16 minutes from time, the “Stars of the East” found the equalizer through Colorado Murray.
