Luton Shelton's father passes

Luton Shelton senior who came to national attention last year as he led his family to announce that his son had a debilitating illness, has died.

The senior Shelton, the father of former national player Luton Shelton, passed away on Thursday afternoon from complications associated with asthma. Last year, the elder Shelton stood with his family as his son revealed that he was suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
