Mona High School have won their first ever ISSA Manning Cup title after defeating Hydel 1-0 in Friday’s final at the National Stadium. The goal was scored in the tenth minute by Demarion Harris.
This is a big win for the Craig Butler-coached Mona team, which failed in its quest for supremacy last year after being knocked out in the semi-final round.
Meanwhile, Jamaica College are the ISSA Walker Cup champions after getting the better of St Andrew Technical 7-6 on sudden death penalties for their fourth hold on the title. The teams played out a 1-1 regulation time scoreline.
