The Jamaica Scorpions batting line up produced a shoddy display to leave the Combined Campuses and Colleges with a 41 run lead on first innings after Wednesday's opening day of their final round CWI regional 4-day championship encounter at the Sir Frank Worrel Ground in Trinidad.
Only Kirk McKenzie 31, and Brad Barnes, 23, offered any resistance, as the Scorpions were bundled out for 133 after being sent in to bat, as four top order batsmen failed to reach double figures. Jaden Edmund led the CCC bowling with 5-59, while Larry Edward weighed in with 3-6.
The CCC in reply, then got to stumps at 174-4. Shaqkere Parris was unbeaten on 70, while Johann Jeremiah made 69.
Brad Barnes has so far claimed 2-38, with a wicket each for Marquino Mindley and Pete Salmon.
