Mount Pleasant and Waterhouse if rescheduled JPL stalemate

Mount Pleasant's coach Theodore Whitmore describes Thursday's 0-0 draw with Waterhouse in their rescheduled Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) game at Drax Hall as disappointing.

A win for Mount Pleasant would have taken them a point behind Waterhouse and they got the chance to at least take the lead, but Daniel Green's second half penalty was saved and the follow-up which ended up in the net was disallowed for encroachment. With the point, Waterhouse moved to second in the standing on 13 points.

The day's other rescheduled game between Tivoli Gardens and Molynes United at Stadium East also ended 0-0.

Molynes United remained second from last on 4 points, while Tivoli leapfrogged Humble Lion into 10th on goal difference with 5 points.
