National junior record holder looking forward to life at new club

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Denise Walters

100 metre national junior record holder Alana Reid is looking forward to life at her new club after switching camps and her belief is that 2025 will be the year she comes good among the senior rank.

The 20 year old Reid has moved from the Dennis Mitchell-led Star Athletics to Hurdles Mechanics, based at the University of Arkansas with coach Lawrence “Boogie” Johnson.

National 100m hurdles record holder Ackera Nugent and national 400m record holder Nickisha Pryce are also based at Hurdles Mechanics.
