Title holders Mona High were sent packing from the ISSA Manning Cup following a 2-0 beating by Kingston College in their quarter-final round game at the Stadium East Field on Friday.
Mona went into the game with one point and needing to beat KC by three clear goals to have a chance of advancing to the semi-finals, but could not muster a shot on a target.
Kvist Paul in the 8th minute and Demario Daley in the 70th, were the goal getters for Kingston College who finished second in Group "A" behind winners Jamaica College.
Jamaica College went into their game against Tivoli High needing a draw but left nothing to chance in a 4-0 victory at the Ashenhiem Stadium. Jomar Dennis led the way with a double for JC who finished top of the group.
The competition continues on Saturday with a Group "B" double header. Hydel on 4 points, will host Campion College who are a point behind at the Prison Oval in Spanish Town. A draw will see Hydel going through, while Campion will be banking on a victory.
Excelsior, who sit at the foot of the table on one point, will take on St Catherine High in a must-win game at the Stadium East Field.
St Catherine High with three points must better whatever Campion do on the day.
