The highly anticipated ISSA/FLOW schoolboy football season kicks off officially with a triple-header at the Montego Bay Sports Complex at Catherine Hall on Saturday.
The elements are in place for a mouthwatering triple-header involving the defending champions of both the Manning and DaCosta Cups.
Reigning Manning Cup champions Jamaica College start their title defence against St Andrew Technical at 2:45 pm.
Despite losing seven members of their starting team, the defending champions are expressing confidence ahead of Saturday's encounter.
They start the season as favourites but claim to be unperturbed by any pressure. The focus switches to the DaCosta cup at 5 o'clock where reigning champions St Elizabeth Technical face Black River High.
Anchovy High and Cornwall College complete the triple-header at 7 o'clock, with scores of other fixtures in both competitions across the island.
