As expected, the experienced Roshana Outar has been included the Jamaica women's 14-member squad for the upcoming regional Women's Super50 tournament in St Kitts and Nevis.
In addition to the returning Outar, the Shane Brooks-coached squad will also include experienced West Indies representatives Stafanie Taylor and Chedean Nation.
Versatile all-rounders Neisha-Ann Waisome and Vanessa Watts ae also included. The team will have a new captain in Rashada Williams who takes over from the veteran Taylor. Taylor will serve as vice-captain. Jamaica's women will open their title defence on February 24 against Trinidad and Tobago.
The tournament, which runs from February 20 to March 9, will feature 50-over matches exclusively, with a break scheduled to accommodate the West Indies' participation in the ICC World Cup qualifiers. The T20 format will resume in late April.
