Portmore United finished third in the Caribbean Club Championships with a 4-3 win on penalties over defending champions Central FC from Trinidad. The game ended 2-2 after full and extra time.
The win ensured Portmore United qualified for the CONCACAF League phase for a chance to contest the 2018 CONCACAF Champions League.
