Jamaica's Reggae Boyz were stunned 2-1 by Curacao in the final of the Caribbean Cup in Martinique on Sunday evening. The Boyz were behind from as early as the tenth minute when Elson Hooi deflected shot rolled passed custodian Dwayne Miller.
In what was a lethargic display, the Jamaicans pulled level seven minutes from time when substitute Rosario Harriot slotted from close range.
However, seconds later the Boyz were trailing again as Hooi popped up to slam home from close range to dethrone the Jamaicans of their title. This is the first time that Curacao was beating Jamaica in three attempts since 1965. The Reggae Boyz are slated to return home later today.
