Roach declares himself fit and ready for World Cup

West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach says he is fit and ready for battle in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand starting next weekend.

Roach was forced to withdraw from the West Indies side during the series in South Africa due to an ankle injury.   The 26 year old Barbadian who has taken 98 ODI wickets  in 64 matches at an average of 26.85 runs per wicket, says he is fully recovered and ready to take his place in the Windies bowling line up.

Despite taking  a hat-trick in the last World Cup in India 2011, Roach is tempering his expectations this time around.
