The Jamaica Scorpions were in a precarious position at 220 for 8 at the close of day 3 of their third round regional 4-day contest against the Barbados Pride at Sabina Park. The home lead by 100 runs.
The Pride who resumed on 315-6, were eventually bowled out for 389. Skipper Kraigg Brathwaite took his overnight 129 to 142. Derval Green bagged 4-78 and Pete Salmon 3-94.
The Scorpions in their second turn at the crease, got to 220-8 as Abhijai Mansingh led the way with 54, while Leroy Lugg got 43, Kirk McKenzie 39 and Carlos Brown 35. Shaquille Cumberbatch claimed 4-22 and Kevin Wicham 2-26.
