Speid to take over as TD of Munro's football programme

Radio Jamaica Sports has been reliably informed that coach of back to back Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) champions Cavalier, Rudolph Speid will be a member of the Munro College DaCosta Cup coaching staff for the upcoming 2025 season.

It’s understood that Speid will be the Technical Director of Munro's programme which currently has Kemar Ricketts as head coach.

Veteran coach Jackie Walters is the current Technical Director and has been at Munro since 2018. Munro advanced to the quarter-final round in the 2024 DaCosta Cup competition.   

The St Elizabeth-based school has won seven DaCosta Cup titles overall with their first coming in 1950 and their last in 1964.
