St Elizabeth Technical head coach Omar ‘Rambo’ Wedderburn says he has no fear journeying to Montego Bay to face Cornwall College in the final of the ISSA Flow DaCosta Cup. The match will be contested on Saturday at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in Catherine Hall starting at 6 p.m.

With Cornwall College said to be in their backyard, concerns were raised about whether STETHS  would be at a disadvantage, but Wedderburn says where-ever the match is played, his team will be ready to go.

“We don’t really matter where the final is being played because right now if ISSA should change this venue to Cornwall College we ready up and running and for spectators, they are ready just the same,” said Wedderburn.

STETHS have been boosted by the return of leading scorer Jovoney Brown who was out injured since the last quarter-final round encounter.

And despite suggestions that key players such as Peter Lee Vassell might not be at one hundred percent, Cornwall's coach Dr Dean Weatherly insists he has the squad to get the job done.

“Part of the school song for Cornwall says “we are men of might” and we are up for all challenges and it is befitting of us that when we are there we perform,” said Dr Weatherly.

Hitz 92 FM will have live coverage of the final starting with a pre-game show at 5:45 pm.
