Third place finish for Richards at high jump-only meet

Jamaica's world indoor high jump bronze medallist Raymond Richards cleared 2.26 metres to place third, on count back at Thursday’s second staging of the "What Gravity Challenge" in?
Doha.

Ryoichi Akamatsu of Japan who also scaled 2.26 metres, edged Richards into second place. Two-time world indoor champion Sang-Hyeok Woo of Korea, won the event with clearance of 2.29 metres.

The highly competitive high jump-only event is the brainchild of reigning three-time world champion and Olympic gold medallist Mutaz Barshim, who created a platform where top athletes can push their limits in front of a global audience.
