Owayne Gordon who had a standout game for the Reggae Boyz on Sunday against Suriname, says his game has improved as a result of playing in the United States. Gordon has just ended the season with Indy Eleven in the North American Soccer League (NASL) championship.
Gordon, who set up Jamaica's only goal against Suriname, is on loan at Indy Eleven from Montego Bay united but he is confident of both parties making the move permanent.
“It’s a more experience for me to come out of the country to go international and play. It helped me a lot. I had a great season and enjoyed the energy and hard work I put out throughout the season; the coach loves the work I put out in the season and I have no doubt I’m going back,” said Gordon.
