Two jockeys suspended from the track

In form female jockey Georgina Sergeon escaped the steward's wrath this week, coming away with severe warnings for careless riding.

Sergeon was cautioned for interferences caused to five horses while riding ‘Super Trooper' on July 10, and was also cautioned for interference caused to ‘Commander Zero’ while winning astride 'Mr. Skill’ on July 14.

The season's leading apprentice Aaron Chatrie and Richard Cole were not so lucky.

Chatrie was banned for two racedays effective July 31 for interferences caused to ‘Big Bargain’, ‘Grace Marie’ and ‘The Best Man’ while riding ‘Naturally Royal’ on July 10, while Cole was slapped with a two raceday ban as well for interference caused to ‘She's Magic’ while riding ‘Reggae Rock’ on July 17.

His suspension is also effective July 31.
