A small but competitive field of six will face the starter in today's "Prime Minister's Stakes" over 10 furlongs, the feature event for grade one contestants on the independence day 11 race programme at Caymanas Park.
2012 Derby and St. Leger winner "Typewriter" who has already won twice from four starts this season, will tote topweight of 126 pounds with former champion jockey Shane Ellis astride for trainer Spencer Chung.
"Typewriter" is showing as the 9 - 5 morning line favourite.
The field is completed by "Timeforarms" with champion apprentice shamaree muir; "classy prospect" with champion jockey dane nelson; "Reasonable Press" Winston Griffiths; "Commanding Chief" Ruja Lahoe and "Raging Prospect" to be ridden by Dick Cardenas.
TVJ Sports Network will have a live telecast of all 11 races.
