Two time Olympic 200 meter champion Veronica Campbell-Brown and husband, former national sprinter Omar Brown are set to welcome their first child. Campbell-Brown, sporting a baby bump, announced that they were expecting via her twitter page posting: "our lives will soon change"....#babycomingsoon 2019.
The news means Campbell-Brown will more than liklely miss the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar this year. Campbell-Brown is an eight-time Olympic medalist and is one of only nine athletes to win world championship titles at the youth, junior and senior levels. The 36 year old has also won three gold, seven silver and two bronze medals at the world outdoor championships
She’s also a two-time 60 meter champion at the IAAF World Indoor Championships. Campbell Brown and Omar, the 2006 Commonwealth Games 200m champion, have been married for over 10 years.
