Western and Central Champs to be held at GC Foster College

Organizers of the Western Championships and Central Championships have been informed by GC Foster College that as a result of ongoing delays to getting material needed for the renovation of the track, they could stage their meets at the St  Catherine-based institution as opposed to a track in Kingston.

There will be some changes to Western Champs, set for February 17, while Central Champs is slated for February 24 and 25.

In the meantime, Athletics Director at GC Foster College, Chester McCarthy says they've asked Regupol for extra time with the work expected to start on March 16.

The Western Relays, scheduled for February 14, was cancelled as a result of the expected unavailability of the track at GC Foster College.
