Commentary on the 40th Breeders Cup Classic
The 5-2 favourite White Abarrio under jockey Irad Orrtiz for trainer Richard Dutrow Jr, scored an emphatic victory in Saturday's 40th running of the $6 million Breeders Cup Classic over 10 furlongs at the Santa Anita Race Track in California.
White Abarrio overtook Arabian Knight in the stretch to provide Ortiz with his 19th career Breeders Cup victory and the second win for trainer Dutrow in the event.
