Culture Minister, Olivia Grange

Labour day comes up next Tuesday, May 23, and Jamaicans are being asked to plant trees in line with the national project. The national project will see trees being planted along Highway 2000. In addition to planting trees, general beautification of public spaces is also expected on Labour Day.

And when the work is done, it will be time for fun at the Labour Day Concert at Emancipation Park in New Kingston, starting at 7 pm. So says Culture Minister, Olivia Grange as she announced details of the concert in a recent statement to parliament.
