The artiste formerly known as Kanye West has lost his billionaire status as a result of his recent controversial comments.
Forbes Magazine revealed that Ye is now worth an estimated US$400 million, following news that sportswear giant Adidas has ended their partnership, that was valued at a whopping US$1.5 billion.
A rep for Adidas says the company does not tolerate antisemitism or any other sort of hate speech, adding that Ye's recent remarks were unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous.
Retailer, The Gap is said to be taking immediate action to remove all West-related products from shelves due to the rapper's recent string of antisemitic remarks.
His G.O.O.D. Music record label is no longer under Def Jam Recordings, though the label did not reveal if recent antics played a part in the contract not being renewed.
Talent agency CAA has dropped him, and film studio MRC is shelving a documentary about the rapper.
The Balenciaga fashion house cut ties with Ye, Vogue ended their partnership and JPMorganChase ended their business relationship.
