Chief Executive Office of National Commercial Bank, Bruce Bowen, says the decision by Fitch, the world's third largest credit ratings agency, to assign a 'BB-' rating to the bank's long-term debt, is a reflection of its strong market leadership, solid capital base, disciplined risk management and the continued resilience of Jamaica's financial environment.
Mr. Bowen also stressed that it reflects the confidence regulators, investors and customers have in the bank's ability to grow responsibly while safeguarding the country's financial system.
