The New Orleans rapper born Michael 'Mystikal' Tyler was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, simple robbery, domestic abuse battery -- strangulation, false imprisonment, and simple criminal damage to property.
The rapper previously served six years after being convicted of sexual battery and extortion.
He was released in January 2010 and had to register as a sex offender in Louisiana.
