Barita Investments has appointed attorney-at-Law Peter Goldson as a Director on its Board.
In a release to the Jamaica Stock Exchange this week, the company revealed that this appointment took effect on May 1 this year.
Mr. Goldson was also appointed Chairman of Barita's Corporate Governance and Conduct Review Committee.
Mr. Goldson is the Senior Partner at Myers, Fletcher & Gordon. He is a commercial attorney with broad experience across a number of areas, including mergers and acquisitions, hotel developments and sales, capital markets and advising on regulatory matters.
Barita has also appointed a new Company Secretary. Stephanie O. Sterling was appointed to the position, with responsibility for Barita Investments Limited and Barita Unit Trusts Management Company Limited.
This took effect March 29, after the resignation of Malindo Wallace.
Miss Sterling is an attorney-at-law and currently holds the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Barita Investments Limited.
