Berger Paints Jamaica achieved a significant financial turnaround in its 2024 fiscal year, reporting a $151.8 million profit before tax, a sharp reversal from the $255.8 million loss in 2023.
This recovery was driven by a 4% revenue increase to $3.5 billion and a 15% reduction in cost of goods sold, boosting gross profit margins by 24% year over year. Operating expenses remained stable around $1.76 billion.
The company attributed its success to strong cost control and operation efficiency, signalling renewed momentum and a stronger market position.
