BOJ pumps US$90 million into forex market in three days

The Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) pumped US$30 million into the foreign currency market on Thursday, bringing the total value of interventions over the last three days to US$90 million.
 
The Jamaican dollar has made ground, with the US currency selling for an average $155.61.
 
This is a $0.15 improvement in the value of the Jamaican dollar compared with the start of trading on Thursday.
 
The Canadian dollar is selling for $116.96.
 
The average cost for the Pound is $195.11, while the average selling rate for the Euro is $167.73.
