BoJ receives 241 bids, totaling J$27.41 billion, for the $15 billion offered last Wednesday

The Bank of Jamaica says it received 241 bids totaling J$27.41 billion for the $15 billion it offered last Wednesday, at 6.25% per annum. 
 
The transaction was settled on Friday with the bank reporting that it accepted only 149 bids for the $15 billion on offer. 
 
The money is to help fund this year's $1.38 trillion budget.
 
The average yield for the successful bids was 6.7% per annum, while the lowest bid was for J2 billion, at six per cent. 
 
The highest bid was for J400 million, at 10% per annum.
