Digicel Guyana urges country to free up spectrum for upgrades

Digicel Guyana has called for the government to free up spectrum for the expansion and upgrade of its services.

The mobile company said that requests to the government have been pending since November and new services and upgrades have been delayed.

In a statement, Chief Executive Officer Gregory Dean said the company needs confirmation from the Government that the spectrum it uses to deliver these and future services, will be made available.
