The Fiscal Commission has agreed to expedite all outstanding payments due to the Fiscal Commissioner.
Payments to Fiscal Commissioner Courtney Williams will be retroactive to May 1, 2023, in keeping with the attorney-general's opinion.
The Commission, chaired by House Speaker Juliet Holness, met Monday afternoon to discuss the matter.
Details of the Fiscal Commissioner's salary were not available.
Last Friday in the Senate, the Opposition raised concern that the Fiscal Commissioner has not received a salary since his appointment last year.
